In 2022 I worked with an ESOL Tutor to deliver a pottery course for community members learning English as a foreign language. We covered a range of hand-building techniques such as pinch pots, coiling and slabbing, along with decorative techniques such as using slips and sgraffito. We focused on creating functional wares with the aim of making works for a communal dinner.
